steelwork, lifting and fixing of dish antennas up to 4.5 metres
(15ft).Alignment of links, Waveguide sweeps, Fade and Stability testing. I
also constructed 38ft. Satcom dishes for B.T. I also carried out numerous
successful bid surveys for potential SDH backbone rings. Upon completion of
this contract I moved onto the Dolphin project where I did the I & C of

Technician Subcontractor employed on the
Alcatel Dutchtone expansion project. Initially employed as an I & C
engineer on the minilink network using the 9400/9600 series incorporating the
Lux 12 commissioning software. Upon rollout completion I was moved onto the
cleanup operations of the network, ensuring all sites, links and reporting

BALKANS) Position Held – Foreman Subcontractor employed on a SDH
turnkey project. Duties included full site installation of dish antennas (up
to 3.7m), running and sweep testing of waveguides including the first ever 4
GHz link in the U.K. I & C of Nera 290x and Citylink radios. The
installation of Inix Add Drop multiplexers (electrical).All handover documentation.

Engineer Initially employed as a networks
performance and QA auditor, carrying out T1 testing, sweeptesting feeders,

report documenting all anomalies back to the carrier. Upon completion of this

Supervisor. Subcontractor working in the
start up Network Operations Centre for Huawei Technologies. Interfacing
between the clients partner NOC (Ericsson) and Huawei I &C teams for the
implementation of new and swap nodes for Mobistar, ensuring a smooth
transition of partner responsibilities for the UMTS sites. The assignment of
3G related trouble tickets using PeopleSoft. The tracking and follow up of
TT’s through to corrective actions. Monitoring and handling of NodeB’s in
transition from integration through to site acceptance. The creation of daily
logs and reports of all alarms, faults and SLA infringements. Assisting the
field engineers with fault finding, config changes, drive tests, cluster

carrying out site preparatory works for Microwave installation. This includes

steelwork, RG6/RG8 transmission cable and all other associated civil works. I
work in an I & C role installing the Traffic Node range of the 3G E///
